My First Crush

This was long overdued, and I didn't had the guts to send it to him back then. We're amicable friends now, and yes everyone might have their first crushes way earlier than I had mine. First crushes are always one of the most vivid memory that each one of us will keep in the etch of our minds, no matter how silly it was and this was an extract of what I typed:

Why do people love?

MAYBE its human nature to love and be loved. There will be instances where we experience unrequited love. When faced in such a situation, most will choose the easy path and that is to let go and let time heal. On the other hand, there'll be people who choose to love courageously. Depending on whatever you choose, there will always be a different outcome for everyone. However, is love really worth the risk? Having to devote time and effort on a person, in hopes that they would reciprocate your love. It is definitely intimidating, especially to the ones who has experienced the pain of losing the person you loved. I can't deny the fact that I might be one of those who falls in this category, I used to perceive love as a beautiful thing that could ever happen to anyone. With such a naive perception, I embraced love, took the bacon of light and gave my all to someone who doesn't deserve it. Whenever I look back at those moments, I would be reminded by how naive I thought love would be. Love is controversial too, some thinks that love is ephemeral and change is inevitable and others would think that love is intriguing and is a magical thing. In the end, humans are still vulnerable creatures, even a player or someone who has been hurt before will fall one day... and till that day comes I'll reserve my feelings for the right one.
